It’s Really Simple
Planning a wedding should be fun and exciting. After the ‘yes I do’ it is normal to have questions at this point. The Iist of vendors could also seem endless, from an events planner to the bridal gown, wedding cake, photography, quest, hall etc.
Here is where I come in, a great service should not be hard to find that is why I am committed to bringing in some calm, glitz and glamour.

Frequently asked questions (FAQS) you may need to ask me or whoever is making the dream cake.

Do you have availability?When you get in touch with me the first question I'll ask is likely to be the on date and location. This is to check my availability. If I have a free space then the discussion will focus on your likes this is to enable me get a feel of your dream day and talk about your design.

Do you offer a cake tasting section?Yes, when you are booked in, we will arrange a consultation. This can be over the phone, zoom or face to face in an arranged venue.

Do you work with other suppliers?Yes, teamwork is a vital part of planning a ceremony. I enjoy working with other suppliers as this helps to bring all the creativity and personalization needed to deliver a stunning result. Each cake represents a unique love story.

Do you offer gluten free/ vegan/eggless cakes?My business provides variety of home baked foods these include halal, eggless and vegan cakes. I currently do not cater for gluten free cakes.

Can I have different flavours?Yes you can. I actually will discuss this during your consultation and also talk about fillings. You also have the choice of a taster box with six flavours from which you can choose three flavours for the day. The fillings and flavours can be personalised for the ultimate flavour. These can then be layered differently on each tier.

Is the tasting session included in your fee?The cost of the taster box is £30 and I charge half its price if you book with me within a month of the consultation. However, it’s free for cakes over £550, whichever be the case this amount is deducted from the final cost. Please note that to reserve a date you have to pay a non refundable deposit of £100 this is a retainer fee.

What medium or technique are your designs?I work really well with buttercream, ganache and fondant. The kind of material used for a cake will mostly depend on the design and structure.

Do you offer a delivery service?Yes, I personally deliver my wedding cakes. This is a preference and can ease your day however, you can choose to collect it and I will offer you a ‘how to care for your cake’ form.

Is there a delivery charge?Delivery and set up charges are explained in more detail in my terms and conditions. Charges are calculated based on mileage and hours taken to set up the cake.

What are your prices?Sticking to your budget is key. I have a minimum cap for my tiers be it buttercream or fondant. These prices do not include add-on such as very intricate details, stenciling , luster, sugar flowers or wafer paper etc. A final quote is generated once the design has been finalised.
